Atleast one month in advance you should plan to take up some training Get started with your wt reduction programme, if you are over weight Trim your shape- I mean take reqular exercise You will have to do some physical exercise while at the ssb- Just 3 minutes, runing , climbing and jumping about. (10 different obstacles of various difficulty level AFTER cracking if you are not prepared well- you will BOOMARANG on the very first day itself watch out Screening Test:- This is an eleminating round- about 60 to 70 % get knocked off at this stage- if this happens you have lost that chance to become an officer. Q. IS IT DIFFICULT A. IT IS NOT EASY, If you do not talk What does test? a) IQ both Verbal and Non verbal- it is easy if you have attended your college placement exams b) Picture writing test--- Not as easy as you think c) Narrating your story to the group of about 20 incl assessment officers d) Discussion about the story and making the group to see your view point--- easy. If you have the GIFT OF THE GAP Now you know that some training is required. It needs three experts to judge your skill- develop your skill and make you a potential candidate SO now you think of a good SSB training Institute Look around-- You should make sure the ssb coaching institute is not being run by one ex-officer Mind you, these experts get trained at Delhi. DPRI only then they are put into the job of selection. Three assessment officers are:-
  1. PSYCHOLOGIST
  2. GROUP TESTING OFFICER
  3. INTERVIEWING OFFICER
