WHAT IS SSB INTERIVEW?

It is a gate way to get into various Defence Services- Officers Training Academies

What are the ways of becoming an officer in the armed forces?
  1. Via - UPSC Written Examination- Combined Defence Services Exam for Army, Navy and IAF
  2. Via- UPSC Written Examination - National Defence Academy- Pune / Naval Academy Ezhimala
  3. Via- Air Force Common Admission Test and EKT for Commission in IAF
  4. Via- Screening Test for Territorial Army
  5. Via- Simple Interview- University Entry Scheme for Engineers
  6. Via- Interview for 10 +2 Technical Entry scheme for ARMY and NAVY
  7. Via- NCC C certificate Direct SSB Interview With out CDSE Exam
  8. Via- Fast Tract Selection - IAF ONLY
  9. Via- Direct Entry - Graduation Marks Based for NAVY- Tech Entry ARMY
  10. Via- Services Entry- Army Cadet College- Dehradun ( Applicable for Serving Soldiers, Airmen and Sailors Only)
  11. Via- Special Branch Commissioning- Applicable only for Those serving in AF, Army, Navy
  12. Via- Pre selection Board and Final Selection Board for Coast Guard.
Stage One: SCREENING-- Tests Conducted for ONE DAY ONLY
Stage Two: Full Services Selection Board Interview Tests- 4 Days
Stage Three: Pilot Aptitutde Battery Test for Pilot aspirants only
Stage Four: Medical Tests
Stage Five: Merit List by the Recruitment Directorate
Stage Six: Training at Army / Navy / IAF Academy
Note: Female Candidates are also eligible after Graduation in any subject
For M.B.B.S and Dental. There is a separate entry without any written test- Direct Interview Only

ssb coaching academy The eye sight requirement for the post of officer in Indian army is mentioned below: > Uncorrected without glass – 6/12 > Corrected with glass – 6/6 > Limits of Myopia – 3.5 > Limits of Hypermetropia – +2.5 > Binocular vision III > Limits of Colour Perception I "People in the armed forces are often working in dusty, dirty conditions with no running water or facilities for hygiene.
