Preparation for Facing Services Selection Board Interview - Tips

An aspirant needs to develop his personality by concentrating on the following:-

a) Follow instructions cheerfully and be disciplined at all times even if no one is watching you.

b) Be a team-man not a loaner.

c) Interact with people  (Win Friends and influence them in a constructive manner) be co-operative, adaptable and helpful.

d) Be sincere and honest ( Never Lie)

e) Be hardworking and determined . Never give up and don't be lazy.

f) Take part in competitions and activities. 

g) Practice talks and discussions with friends.

h) Participate in treks, travels and other outdoor activities.

i) Try your hand at all the games and excel at least at one of them.

j) Participate in adventure activities. improve physical courage and stamina.

k) Improve communication and power of expression by speaking and writing in English, Hindi

l) Reading books- fiction and non fiction, updating GK by reading newspapers etc, everyday, bettering vocabulary and handwriting.

m) Other confidence building measures- be a leader by cheerfully taking initiative and responsibilities , motivating juniors, setting personal examples ( Being a role  model), planning and organising , displaying traits of application, drive etc.)
