He thought, I am young, just 30 years, I have B.Tech with an MBA
I can serve for just 2 months in a year and ENJOY all the perks the army would offer me.
60 days just a CAKE WALK!!!!
Appeared for Territorial Army
God had given him an opportunity to PROVE it to others that
HE HAS IT IN HIM.
All went well
the Youngester, ( that is the term used for newly commissioned officer)
was called upon to join the Territorial Army unit that was deployed in J & K 180 km from Srinagar.
As it was customary in the Army, he was asked to stay with the Jawans for 30 days before he would be officially dinned into the officer's mess.
NOW What??
Just live and Taste the life of our Jawans in the front line
This will being in a lot of respect from the Soldiers that he would soon be commanding.
How long do you think he lasted
JUST 9 days
He put up his papers and ran back by the fastest means.
ie Took a civil flight and vanished from the unit.
Folks, You have to have the GUTS. to face the reality.
NOW ASK YOUR SELF , DO YOU REALLY HAVE IT IN YOU.
I do not think this tradition is followed in Air Force or NAVY
I may be wrong.
