Q. What do you look into a Potential Candidate's PIQ?
A. PIQ is like a window to your personality  It reveals about the personal information of the candidate to the Interviewing officer. In order to verify what has been written or claimed by the candidate, the INTERVIEWING  OFFICER (IO) forms a few questions from the PIQ and clarifies his doubt/ Genuineness of the statement.

Mostly, the IO goes through the Extracurricular activities and Achievements of the candidate

It is a known fact that to achieve something of importance, one has to be good and it should have been acknowledged by some one.

Let us say the candidate has given Hockey as the Game he has participated.

The column also has " LEVEL OF PARTICIPATION"

Here if he writes only class level or school he has given out that he is not very outstanding

If he says part of School Team

or

Part of District Team

OR Part of UNIVERSITY TEAM- then it speaks better about his performance

Another Example:-
I had an opportunity to lead the Hockey team of my school and participated in SRILANKA( Indian- Srilankan School Hockey Champion Ship)
This is true for at one time the Sainik School did send the team to SRILANKA

Since he was the captain, I will note this and clarify about it during the interview
Here I am expecting a Potential candidate.  


What you do to achieve this level, I hope every reader would know the amount of hard work put in by the candidate.
