  Fractions and Decimals:
5.       Simplify:  9 ½ + 6 ¾ - 2 ½
6.       If Somu spent 2/3 of his savings on purchase of book and it was Rs. 200. What was his whole saving?
7.       Add:- 95.009 + 23.002 + 0.003
Percentage:
8.       What is 12 ½ % of 800?
9.       A cow was bought for Rs. 25,000 and the buyer sold it for Rs. 30,000 what was the % of Gain?
Unitary method:
10.   If 8 pens cost Rs. 72 how much will 2 dozen pencils cost ( 1 dz – 12 pencils)
11.   What would be the cost of 1.750 kg of cake if 0.250 kg of cake costs Rs. 75?
Simple Interest:
12.   Find the simple interest earned on Rs.10, 000 invested for 6 months at 8 % rate of interest?
13.    Calculate the amount earned on 8000 invested for 3.5 years at 10.75 %?
Profit and loss
  1. A man bought a car for Rs. 1, lakh, spend Rs.10,000 in its repair, he sold it at a profit of   10 %, Find the Selling price of the car.
  2. Man mohan bought 1000 eggs at a cost of Rs. 2000, spent Rs. 250 on transport. While travel 20 eggs were broken, if he sold the remaining egg for Rs. 2.60 per egg. find the profit or loss incurred by him  
  3. Time and Distance:
A motor cycle was driven at a speed of 75 km /hour, how much distance will it travel in second, (answer should be in m/second) 
  1. A train takes 8 seconds to cross a pole, what would be the speed of the train in km/h?
