1.  If 12 flowerpots cost Rs.156, what do 28 flowerpots cost?(Rs. 364)
 2. A motor bike travels 280 km in 40 liters of petrol. How much distance will it cover in 9 liters of petrol?( 63 km)3. 100 soldiers in a fort had enough food for 20 days. After 2 days, 20 more soldiers join the fort. How long will the remaining food last?
100 soldiers 20 days or 1 soldier -2000 RationAfter days 100 x 2 = 200 rationLeft ration is 2000 – 200 = 1800Total men 100 +20 = 120Hence food will last for 1800/ 120 = 15 days


4.  A labourer gets Rs.684 for 9 days. How many days should he work to get Rs.912?


(Rs. 76 per day. To get 912 he most work for 912/ 76= 12 days)


75. 32 workers can complete a work in 84 days. How many workers will complete the same work in 48 days?


(32 x 84/ 48 =     56 workers)


6.  If 72 workers can do a piece of work in 40 days, in how many days will 64 workers complete the same work?


7. Cost of 3 kg of Rice Is Rs. 60What is the cost of 8 and ¾ kg of Rice?Rs.1758. 10 men working 10 hours a day take 10 days to complete a house. How many hours will they require to work if the job has to be done in 5 days?20 hours
