Defence Academy Coimbatore
This academy is being run by Sainik School Educated- Former Defence Officers.

Colonel G. Murali of Sainik School Khazhkootam
Boys will be prepared to face the Entrance examination for
a) Sainik School
b) Rashtriya Military School
c) Rashtriya Indian Military College Dehradun
d) NDA, CDSE, AFCAT
e) SSB Interview and FSB Interview of Coast Guard.
Our coaching is very unorthodox.
We believe in self learning rather than mugging up.
The students are made to undergo tests after making them understand the Basics of the subject
we only give admission to students who posses an IQ of 110 and above.
Why do we do that?
Here is the Reason.
Of late we have seen a good number of students appearing for just about 80 to 90 seats in any sainik school class VI level
After 25 % For ex servicemen,
15 % for SC
7.5% for ST
Other state 10%
Total 55.7% what is left if 44.3%
about 36 to 39 seats.
for Other communities.
Last years cut off for the first list was generally 200 for Other communities
is approximately 70%
Majority of the boys fall below this level in the Competitive exam.
year after year the Competition would be more and the cut off is bound to raise higher.
Should your son/daughter suffer?
This is the reason that we administer an IQ test
this has the following skill tested
Mathematics or Numerical Ability Test
Language ( English) Skill
Reasoning and Logical Ability
Spatial ability
General awareness.
we only offer crash course and do not offer long term coaching.
For our pysch is of the opinion a child below 10 years separated from parents develop a peculiar problem. They do not get attached with family values like other children.
(This is purely on my 42 years experience in army , selection centers- Training)
Our test would weed out the unsuitable for tough training provided at our academy.
Our study kit and online test are of very high standard and if practiced the candidate will find his /her name in the merit list.
This time we have two instructors who had studied in Sainik School-
Cleared NDA, NEET, JEE and 10 + 2 Tech entry Army and Navy
Awaiting their Joining instructions to Academy.
