Say you like Space Research
You must know about ISRO and its achievements. Collect and add to your scrap book news regularly
WARNING DO NOT BROWSE INTERNET AND IMAGINE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND CAN RETAIN IT.
UNLESS you cut it out of the news paper, read it twice and then file it properly, your visual memory will not be able to register it.
Learning it by
Audio- Visual- Touch- Read- re read and remember.
You can start a quiz club for this and add questions along with answers a fox your friends
For this you should prepare a FLASH CARD
News – Photo and details on one side of the postcard and on the other side the Quiz Question. Use different colour of Flash card for different sections.
SUBSCRIBE to a monthly GK Magazine: This will further help you in enhancing your knowledge. Weekly revision is a must in order to recollect information faster.
THING NOT SEEN NOR HEARED IS SOON FORGOTTEN
In the internet there are a few good web pages that you should refer
Eq:    1. gktoday.com., 2. Gkduniya,   3. Mastguru. Etc.
You can also refresh your knowledge by attending weekly/ monthly quiz online.
Unless you practice this action regularly, your knowledge would get outdated.
Remember, in a competitive examination every mark matters. Doing well in one subject is not sufficient
During interview you will be able to recall the information, provided you are very regular and systematic. Be organized right from the beginning.
All the best.
