TIME MANAGEMENT

Total time available Divided by Number of questions
It case of Sainik School Class VI:- Total Questions 30
  1. READ QUESTION PAPER FIRST 10 MINUTES to make out the questions
  2. Section One- 2 marks - 10 Questions--- One mins each 1 x 10 = 10 mins
  3. Section Two - 3 marks - 10 Questions---- Two mins each 2 x 10 = 20 minutes
  4. Section Three- 5 marks - 10 Questions----Four mins each 4 x 10= 40 minutes
  5. Total Time spent of Maths should be 70 mins and revision 10 mins
  6. Go for Language for the remaining time

PRESENTATION

  1. Since the Answers are to be worked out and not ticking , take care of your presentation Skill
    Sample:-

    Under line the answer make sure you add the required Units

MUST DO

1.READ QUESTION PAPER FIRST 10 MINUTES to make out the questions 2. EASIER QUESTIONS FIRST – Attempt the easier questions first.
It will help you in two ways – Firstly, as they are easier, it will take lesser time for you to attempt them and secondly, as you the answer well, you will get a higher score.3. DO NOT SPEND EXCESS TIME ON A QUESTION- If you are wasting time pondering over an answer, do not do that.
Attempt the other questions first and then go back to that question and answer it.
4. TRY TO ATTEMPT ALL QUESTIONS- Since there is no Negative marking, Do not leave any question unanswered.
Even if you do not know the answer, try and write something.

PRESENTATION

  1. 1. NEAT – Write neatly so that the examiner is pleased to see the paper. Do not scribble and make your paper untidy.2. LEGIBLE – Your handwriting must be easily readable for the examiner.
    Give sufficient place for rough work in maths
    3. HIGHLIGHT- You can underline important words and ideas in the answer.
    The checker can see them easily and you can score better.
    4. POINTS – In whichever answer it is possible, try and write in points rather than a paragraph.

CONTENT

  1. 1. PRECISE- Write to the point.
    2. REFERENCE TO TEXT- Answers to the questions based on the text can be made more substantial by inserting clippings from the text to support it.
    3. YOUR IDEAS- Give your own ideas to support your answer in whichever question it is asked.
    4. FACTS- Give relevant facts in support of your answer. This is very influential on the examiner and will definitely fetch higher marks.
    5. WORD LIMIT- In whichever question a word limit is given, be particular about it.
    Do not exceed it and do not answer below either because either ways it will lead to mark deduction.
    6. GRAMMAR (VOCABULARY)- Use good words in the answer. As it impresses the examiner, it will fetch better marks.
    7. SENTENCE STRUCTURE- The sentences should be grammatically correct, else marks could be deducted.
    8. FORMAT & LAYOUT OF LANGUAGE – Any errors will lead to negative marking.
    9. SPELLINGS- Avoid spelling mistakes.
    10. PUNCTUATION- It is very important, especially in language paper. Use punctuation marks wherever required.

RIVISE

  1. In the end Revise, do it religiously so that you can eliminate the mistakes if anyA sure way of Scoring 100 % in Maths is to Remember the formula and make use of it.
    Write down all the formula every day for 30 days without fail. This is the sure way of committing to memory
