Can Training shape one's future at SSB Interview?
YES says Cadet Rajsekar who got Recommended at the Recently conducted SSB at Bhopal.
He was the only one candidate out of 199 appeared for SSB in that Batch got Recommended.
He shares his experience with other aspirants.
Dear Friends,
First of all, I would like to tell you that one has to pay a price for one's success.
In my case, the story goes like this,
I completed my MCA and was happily settled for a 9 to 5 Job in one IT company in Chennai.
Did I say Happily??
Yes till one day I was asked by my HR to meet him after the day's job.
He was not smiling, he asked me how I liked the job?
I said, great.
He asked me what would I do I he told me that my services are no longer required by this company?
I thought , he was joking. I told him if not this then, there are 101 companies that would offer me better salary due to my experience.
He told me, then best of luck for the next job. All the best. Here is your three months salary. please deposit your ID to the Security as you go and left office.
I was dazzled and did not know what to do.?
Days became weeks, no one ( After the Chennai Floods where offering me any job).
I was slowly recovering from the fact. I have no job.
As I searched the internet, I came upon "ETHICAL HACKING !"
That was interesting,I thought to myself.
I found one person in the internet offering to teach me this technique. Later I came to know that he was working in Police Special Branch.
He taught me the basic and kept me as his assistant.
Only late night he used to call me to his room and we used to crack simple codes.
As I started decoding and broke into my friends Face book account. I felt I was cheating him.
well that let me discontinue the association with that person, then I took on a course in Forensic science.
It was then I learned about how it could be used in RAW.
That was my starting point to search for a suitable way to get in.
One thing led to another.
I joined for a short SSB coaching at Defence Academy Coimbatore.
The Colonel in charge was Grazy.
He said your class will start at 0400 hours in the morning.
I thought he was joking , I went to bed late and was snoring to glory in his hostel. I woke up seeing a tall figure in front of my bed and shouting at me GET UP?
HE literally SCREWED me for 14 days
walking in the streets where we were escorted by street DOGs.
He asked me would you like to have a cup of tea? I said Why not. He asked me then go to the next house that you come across and ask for a cup of tea.
It was Crazy of him. I said, Sir I do not know to whom that house belongs, more over I am a stranger to coimbatore.
He told me some thing about what he did in punjab at 3 am with his troops and how the persons in that village offered the whole platoon hot meals at 3.30 am.
He said, all you have to do is CONVINCE the Members of the house.
ABILITY TO CONVINCE is one of the OLQ he said.
That evening, he asked me to go again and have a cup of tea in that particular house, now we were three.
With a lot of hesitance, I walked up to the house. he also told me you must take a snap along with the members of the house while having your cup of tea.
So I could not escape.
What we did was a real group plan.
We did a small exercise:
What do say?
Who will knock the door first?
How will we introduce ourselves?
How the hell am I going to ask for a cup of tea?
What if they say NO?
I Thought of packing up my bag and leave for Chennai that very evening.
He also told me do this successfully and YOU WILL MAKE it at the SSB.
I did not believe him at all.
Yet, I told myself what the hell let me try it.
Then what we did was
not upto the standard.
we went and requested the house owner, is there any job that we can do for him?
He said no thank you and shut the door on our face.
When we came back to tell him that, he said you are unfit for the army, you can pack up your bag and leave.
I felt humilated.
I said sir, I will try once more, for which he gave me a tougher job.
Now he said, No Now you will have to earn Rs. 100 and then have a meal.
Time 6 hours
He relieved me of my cell phone and cash
and asked me to go out
He laid down certain Conditions
1. Do not tell lie
2. Do not do any menial labour
3. Do not ask , beg , borrow for money.
4. Use your intelligence and earn that money.
To day,
CAN this be done????
He told me prove to that YOU HAVE IT IN YOU.
Today In my Purse I have the 100 Rupee note, that has the word U HV IT IN U
After that particular Task, my Confidence hit sky high.
well No jokes , it is a story.
