The pattern for NDA exam consists of two sections mathematics for 300 marks and general ability for 600 marks. The paper is completely objective type pattern. The topics covered in the mathematics section are algebra, matrices & determinants, trigonometry, analytical geometry of two, three dimension, differential calculus, integral calculus & differential equations, vector algebra, and statistics and probability. A few tips which are useful to solve the paper are that the candidate must first allot time for both the sections in the paper. In the same manner it is important that the candidates prepare from NCERT books. 12th standard books must be used for preparing Math, physics and chemistry for NDA exam. 10th standard books are to be utilized history, Geography, Biology, Political science and economics.
