Morever, I think they should tell us where we lacked in failing the test, why arent we given score cards after each day of testing ? Unless we know our weak points how are we gonna work upon them ? I remember asking this question to The Wing Commander for which he replied IF WE TELL YOU THAT, YOU WILL FEEL DEJECTED AND WE DONT WANT YOU TO DEMORALISE YOURSELVES ! Is it really this way ? A passionate defence aspirant will do anything to give his best ! So we should know where are we lagging behind .

While in the SSB we were told not to point out the exact reasons. These are slightly different from one assessment officer to another. But when we add up at the end of the tests, it is more or less the same mark from each assessment officer.

You are all grown up and heart of heart you know where the fault lies.
Let me give you an example.

If you are very talkative and do not care much for others point of view
Your Factor 2 gets affected. If you do not co-operate and keep shouting and blaming others ( a person in your group may be overweight and not able to perform as well as you do) You may not be aware of this for your aim is to get across as quickly as possible. you will be marked as Low Factor 2 candidate.

You may improve after two or three attempts. if we tell you , you are selfish and you do not care for others, some individuals who are introvert might land up in a hospital. So we often tell you may have different skill.

I tried this with a few candidates, one was good, when i told him he is very good , this got into his head and out on the first day, He dominated all the others. Well there are certain other qualities that will change with time, your out look changes and you become a better person. so keep trying.
