Conducted  by Indian Airforce to select

Officer candidates for

a) Aviation (Flying Branch)

b) Ground Duties

c) Technical Branch ( They also have to clear EKT- Engineering Knowledge Test)

What does this AFCAT Paper Contain? 

The written exam is an exam of 2 hour duration. 
100 questions 
Each question carries 3 marks.
Correct Answer -03 marks.
Wrong Answer -01 Mark
No Deduction of unanswered Question 
 
Questions from Current Affairs,
Math, Reasoning, English, History, Geography, Science, Polity, Economics etc.
 
Written exam 
followed by (EKT)
If declared Passed
you will have to appear for 
AFSB interview.
 
On getting Recommended by Air Force Selection Board
You will be directed to undergo Medical Examination
 
Then wait for Merit list
 
If in Merit await for Joining Instructions to join the Air Force Academy at Dundigal ( Hyderabad)

  • Total questions: 100
  • Maximum Marks: 300
  • Each Question: 3 Marks
  • Negative Marking: -1 for every wrong answer
  • AFCAT 1 2015 question paper consist of four different sections, i.e. English, Maths, GK and Military Aptitude.

  3. Numerical Ability - Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest.
