For SSB Aspirants/Candidates
For SSB Aspirants
Getting through the SSB is a time to rejoice
at the same time when one does not get recommended it is time for him to look back
and see what, where and when some thing went wrong.
As A group testing officer
I often found that candidates make the following mistakes.
Which I found it difficult to digest and then invariably they get low marks in their over all performance.
I often found this among the candidates who are repeaters.
a) Shouting and showing over enthusiasm ( Often this type of behaviour is not original )
b) Not listening to others view point and insisting that he has the right solution.
c) Unable to bring out any new ideas during the Group tasks.
d) Rigidity and inability to co-operate with others.
e) Lack of planning
f) under pressure inability to think clearly .
My suggestion to the aspirants is
BE NATURAL
Let your originality work for you.
Observe- plan- Co-operate and then execute.
As a commander
you must brief your sub-ordinates,'
Give your plan in brief
allot task to each individual
make sure they understand the task
Help the sub-ordinate to execute the task.
On completion thank the sub ordinates and
give a feed back
have an alternate plan ready if one fails
or
when asked to do so.
all the best.
